But who exactly is Nicole Jäger?
Nicole is a German cabaret artist, comedian and also book author, and for us the collaboration means that together with a very inspiring person we are turning the world of coffee upside down and pulling together to address fair pay for coffee farmers and also, for example, the equality of women and men, and to make ourselves heard here.
Fairly produced and traded coffee is our top priority. Thanks to our collaboration with Nicole, we will have the opportunity to reach even more people and look forward to making the world a better place together.
FUN FACT: Grinding beans and boiling them with a hand filter is Nicole's morning ritual.

Wars! Hunger! Climate change! Saving the world is a pretty complex undertaking when you're doing it alone. Luckily, nobody has to save the world single-handedly, and everyone can do their part to make it a little better!
Coffee plays a major role in my life. Without caffeine, I'm practically not human, and with my morning ritual of grinding beans and brewing them with a hand filter, I rake my inner Zen garden at the start of each day.
This topic is very important to me, and I have therefore decided to use my opportunities to raise awareness of fairly produced and traded coffee with my own coffee collection.
The "Nicole Jäger", "Princess Asshole", and "Indestructible" coffees all come from the Red Ecolsierra cooperative in Colombia. Our partner, "Caventura", pays the coffee farmers three times the Fair Trade price, thus contributing to a self-determined life for them.
Furthermore, the cooperative places great emphasis on equal opportunities for men and women. While there were no female managers in 2001, there are now a third.
