Mildred's Specialty Filter Coffee, for example, comes from the farm of Mildred Niebles in Colombia, which we met in person on site have and with whom we are good friends.
We also have coffee, of course. personally tasted .
This is the journey of Mildred's Specialty Filter Coffee:
- Mildred's farm is located at approximately 900 – 1,100 meters above sea level, near the town of Minca, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range, in northern Colombia.
- It was hand-picked by seasonal workers who had fled Venezuela between November 2019 and February 2020.
- The coffee was pre-sorted on site, separated from the pulp, washed and fermented.
- It was then transported to the next largest city, Santa Marta. In a mill, the coffee was subsequently freed from its parchment skin and dried.
- On March 13, 2020, it was shipped to Germany in a container and imported by our partner company El Puente.
- He arrived in Berlin on May 6, 2020.
